Source:To mark the 10th anniversary of the Iraq war this week, Tomas Young, a dying Iraq war veteran who was shot and paralyzed after serving only 5 days in 2004, allowed us to post a personal, heartbreaking letter that he wrote to George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, (a close friend of Young’s), shared his thoughts on the letter. “I think that letter is the most effective piece of anti-war literature written in 50 years,” he told us.
